When we are closed

When the surgery is closed please follow the advice below:

Call 999 in the case of a medical emergency – when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk. This can include loss of consciousness, acute confusional state, fits that are not stopping, persistent and severe chest pain, breathing difficulties, severe bleeding that cannot be stopped, severe allergic reactions and severe burns or scalds.

Call 999 immediately if you or someone else is having a heart attack or stroke. Every second counts with these conditions.

If it is not an emergency but you think it is still an urgent medical issue;

• Bank Holidays, Weekends, and Monday to Friday between 6:30 in the evening and 08:00 in the morning; please dial 111
• For calls between 08:00 to 08:30 in the morning (excluding Bank holidays and weekends) that cannot wait until the practice opens from 8:30 please call our telephone answering service; GTD on 0161 336 5958
• If your call is after our own phone lines have closed from 6 PM to 6:30 PM or on Wednesday from 1 PM to 6:30PM please call the Out Of Hours Service: Go to Doc on 0161 336 5958

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
